The key duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

> Responsibility for managing an efficient and timely system upgrade process across GP practices

> Develop a clear project plan for practice implementation and staff induction

maintain a progress and issues log for monitoring purposes.

> First line technical support and advice to GP practices and the software users.

> Preparation of incident reports where a serious software or computer based error is identified.

> Resolution of the situation and implementation of corrective/preventative measures.

> Initial generation, analysis and interpretation of data held on the CORE NET system on an ad-hoc and routine basis

> Seek opportunities for enhancement of CORE NET operational functions through Supported IT systems. This includes code lists, pro formas and report generation.

> Day to day administration of support for CORE NET system users, including changes of counselling staff, practice administrators and GPs.
