A forward-thinking NHS organisation based in the West Midlands currently requires an interim finance specialist with experience of non-pay expenditure, for a period of four to eight weeks.

The successful candidate will report to the Deputy Director of Finance and will be responsible for completing an in-depth review of non-pay expenditure within the ICT/BI area. This role will involve the successful candidate working closely with non-finance colleagues within this directorate in order to collate and report financial information relating to spend.

Duties will include:

*Providing financial advice to enable BI colleagues to manage their SLAs with customers and third party suppliers
*Establishing robust systems to capture costs within ICT/BI
*Creating and maintaining complex spreadsheets detailing Income & Expenditure (capital and revenue) to manage all costs and ensure cash flow is appropriate
*Establishing and maintaining expenditure payment profiles, cash management liaison and cash profiles
*You may also be required to establish methodologies to determine better cost apportionment as well as looking at the option for charginf out services

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within a similar NHS role. Experience of non-pay expenditure analysis is essential for this role and experience within the ICT/BI remits is preferred.
