Description
I am currently looking for an Oracle Developer with experience of working within Higher Education institutions with Banner.This will be an initial 6 month contract role based in the North.
The successful candidate will need a complete understanding of the Banner data model, and be a PL/SQL expert.
You will have to be skilled at being able to extract and transform data into a common standard Banner data system.
What we need from you:
Technical expertise in an Oracle environment (Oracle PL/SQL, Reports, Forms)
Extensive experience (3+ years) of UK Further Education sectors either working within an institution or through a third party provider.
Experience of working with Oracle and Banner within a University IT Department.
Good English written and verbal skills.
Good knowledge of Banner management systems.
Experience in all aspects of the development. lifecycle: planning, analysis, development, testing and maintenance.
Proven ability to work effectively with colleagues, as part of a team and to work independently.
Experience creating & maintaining database objects
Experience with the Agile and Waterfall methodology desirable.
