EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEERMy client has a requirement for an experienced contract software engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to take part in projects developing cutting edge technology.
Reporting to the relevant project manager, the successful candidate will be self driven and passionate about the elegant design of robust embedded software systems. You will be a core member working in a small team responsible for the design of new products.
The role is focused on embedded software design, seeing the project through from the initial concept and specification stage, through testing and documentation to in-house manufacturing.
An appreciation of associated digital hardware is also required.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Educated to degree level in an electronic engineering.
- Proficient in designing embedded firmware applications, to a timescale
- Fully conversant writing in embedded C and C++
- Experience in C# and .Net
- Experience Linux-Kernel
