Description
We are currently recruiting for Software Design Engineers to work in the software design team in Derbyshire. Involved in the production of software architecture, designs and source code for Full Authority Digital Engine Control systems used on gas turbine engines. Responsible for all aspects of the software lifecycle, from requirements analysis to hand coding and problem resolution.The contract length is 6 months and is paying 33 to 38 per hour dependant on experience. Candidates will need to pass security clearance to be eligible to perform this role.
Candidates must have experience within the last five years of:
*Design and coding of real-time, embedded, safety critical software.
*Working to safety critical standards such as DO-178B level A or equivalent.
*Ada 95 or Ada 83
*UML
It is also preferable that candidates have experience of:
*Artisan
*PTC Integrity or Serena Dimensions/PVCS
*SPARK
*OOD
