With a focus on Neuroscience you will lead and provide insight into development of data analysis plans and study protocols in collaboration with medically trained colleagues.
As Project Statistician you will oversee the establishment of reporting databases and associated data analysis. You will also lead the study team on interpretation of results and you will be co-author for associated publications.
You will have a focus on Phase III, IIIb and IV trials or observational studies, and be accountable for the selection of statistical methods or analysis. Coordination of statistical programming of external statisticians (CRO) and the quality assessment of the same falls within your role.
You will be expected to be current with respect to statistical methodology and be confident justifying the methods selected. You will also peer review products from other statistical colleagues. This is a high profile role and you will assist with or be responsible for communicating results via regulatory submissions as well as communicating directly with key customers face to face or at scientific meetings.
In addition you will be actively involved in responding to regulatory or reimbursement queries.
To be successful you will already understand the neuroscience area with previous experience in the areas of depression, Alzheimer, ADHD or Schizophrenia. You will also be experienced with the SAS programming language.
You will be a strong leader with great interpersonal skills and a strong customer focus. You will have strong project and task management skills and adept at delivering against agreed timelines and setting personal priorities. You will be a great problem solver and be able to consider the strategic impact and value of your analysis.
You will have a minimum of 5 years in a similar role and be M.S, or Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Statistics, Biostatistics or a related subject.
