Information Security Architect: Lead project
Essential Experience:
- Experience of the security implications of virtualised technologies.
- Experience and understanding of the common security infrastructure challenges in large and complex business and technical environments.
- A thorough understanding of the regulations (eg SOX, PCI, COBIT, GxP Data Privacy & Protection, etc.)
- Experience of engaging and interacting with a wide stakeholder group, including but not limited to end users, IMs and IT Staff.
- Knowledge and experience in more than one technology discipline is advantageous.
- >6 years of professional IT experience in an infrastructure domain.
- Design and management of processes and complex tool landscapes.
- VM Ware and VCE and VBlock.
- Security of VLANs and network segmentation especially in Virtual environment.
- Good practice for secure administration of critical infrastructure.
Desirable Experience:
- TOGAF experience.
- Project Management experience.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is considered advantageous.
- Experience in the Service Improvement life cycle process
- Datamodelling and synchronization
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the sub projects for the ISEC Foundation remediation program.
Secure administration of critical infrastructure
Virtual network security and zoning
Prepare processes for handling generation of output for a SIEM tool and the responses from the SOC for the security incidents.
Prepare groundwork for security training for administrators - Review, analyse and propose solutions for security solutions and processes.
- Lead the security engineers and technical writers for the Pilot studies and execution of solutions.
Results to be achieved
- Implement solutions for the sub-projects outlined above
- Review different options for fulfilling all sub-projects and execute a single solution including business case.
Mandate
- Lead technical resources to ensure timely delivery to project manager expectations.
- Discuss with vendors on behalf of company to have a first quotation for price of alternatives.
- Project Management Teams
- Ensure delivery of commitments on the participated projects on time and within budget. Provide updates.
- Provide assistance with business requirements and status/progress on solutions
Education
- Minimum Requirement: BS in Computer Science, engineering or equivalent degree, with technical training equivalent and hands-on experience. MSc degree advantageous plus.
- Expert knowledge in a specific technology and associated subsystems.
- Project Management Certification.
- ITSM foundation preferred. ITSM certification in Incident or Problem Management a plus
- Industry recognized certifications in the relevant are desired
- ITIL knowledge, ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
