Description
Our client is a Global company with operations in Kildare. They are currently seeking an experienced Front End Developer to join their team. This will be an initial 3 month contract and it is expected to be extended beyond this.
The role is for a developer to work on web and mobile projects being developed using HTML5 client interfaces and usually a cloud based Microsoft .Net/SQL Back End.
Required Skills:
Experienced developer with demonstrable experience in HTML5 development for web applications, games and/or mobile apps, including:
- Design and layout using HTML5 (WS3 standard) and CSS3 plus
- Developing with JavaScript including:
- JQuery, Mobile JQuery and PhoneGap in conjunction with the HTML/CSS development
- JSON for data manipulation
- RESTful API
- Developing animations using HTML5 canvas, CSS3 and JavaScript
- Developing for touch screens, sensors and other device specific capabilities
- Developing for multiple platforms (ie Android, Windows8, cloud etc.)
In addition the projects will need Microsoft .Net/SQL development experience, including:
- Use in the development of cloud back ends for HTML5 apps or web applications
- Stored procedures
- Database design and development
- C# (plus VB, optional)
