Description

Link Technologies is seeking 2 Senior Architects for our client in Harrisburg, PA. These Senior Architects will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing application infrastructure to provide highly-complex, reliable, and scalable applications and systems to meet our client's objectives and requirements.

Candidates should have in-depth experience developing WebSphere Message Broker process flows. The primary goal of the project is to provide an enterprise-class scalable, service oriented architecture (SOA) based solution for our client's external business partners to access system transactions via web services and the Internet. WebSphere Message Broker will be used to accept incoming service requests from business partners over the Internet, authenticate and authorize the requests in conjunction with IBM DataPower Appliance, transform and enrich the requests by adding additional data elements from SQL data sources and changing them to a format acceptable to the Legacy IMS/Cobol systems, invoke the appropriate IMS/Cobol transactions, and send responses back to the business partners.

The 2 Senior Architects will be core members of the Development team.

  • Participate in requirements gathering, as necessary.
  • Perform hands-on design, development, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation of Message Broker process flows.

  • Perform effective troubleshooting to rapidly resolve problems.
  • Design, plan, and implement stress/performance tests for workflows.
  • Participate in implementation planning.
  • Troubleshoot and correct post-production issues.
