Job Role: Electronics/Firmware Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Negotiable depending on experience

Electronics and Firmware Engineer needed to join the design and development team. Ideally you will have full product life cycle experience with test design experience in the automotive sector. This role is particularly interesting if you have a strong relevant background in electronics/firmware and custom test equipment engineering.

Ideally you will have the following experience:-

- Electronics degree or equivalent relevant experience

- Proven experience of electronic/firmware design (PIC microcontrollers)

- EMC, CANbus and design for manufacture

- Experience with Schematic capture and PCB layout systems

- Electronics, firmware programming languages and Microsoft operating systems.

- The ability to implement design changes to existing production

- Strong analytical, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Desirables include:-

- Automotive experience

- CANbus/Vehicle architecture

- Schematic capture and PCB Design with EMC consideration
