Job title: IPTV Service Solution Expert Consultant
Location: Shenzhen, China with international business travels
Start date: ASAP 
Duration: 6/12 months extendable
Language: English. Other languages a bonus
Working days: Monday to Friday

Job Description: 

  • Market Analysis and Planning of fixed network and video (DTV/IPTV/OTT etc.) Service Solution;
  • Customer requirements management
  • Communicate with relevant Business Units for video (DTV/IPTV/OTT etc.) Services solution development
  • Proactively supporting global service project activities:
  • Proposal generation, Business Case generation, Due Diligence generation etc.
  • Presentation generation and presentation.
  • Supporting local organizations and Accounts for Service Solutions/bidding to reach sales target:
    • Subject matter expert on FTTX, DSL and Video (DTV/IPTV/OTT etc.)platform.
    • Supporting negotiations from solution point of view
    • The successfully candidate must demonstrate the following:
    • Proven experience in Video (DTV/IPTV/OTT etc.) Services Solution, generation & delivery,
    • Detailed knowledge of all network elements that could be included in an end to end Video (DTV/IPTV/OTT etc.)
    • Excellent presentation and communication skill.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and good team working ethic
    • Understanding of customer needs in the field of video (DTV/IPTV/OTT etc.)
    • High level Customer relationship building & maintaining
    • Solution Expertise - Knowledge and experiences in telecommunication outsourcing services:
    • Detailed end to end process of telecom operation and maintenance (ITIL, eTOM etc.)

 Educational Requirements: 

  • BS or above - Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field preferred
  • The degrees should be from a fully regionally accredited University
  • Basic qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to execute quantitative analyses - such as video (DTV/IPTV/OTT etc.) business case analysis and benchmarking performance measurement
  • Previous Telecommunication, Information or related Industrials preferred
  • Understanding of global MSO (Multiservice Operator) marketplace
  • Above 15 years' in relevant work experience
  • Ability to travel up to 70%+ of contract duration 

Additional qualifications: 

  • Experience executing consulting projects and an exemplary track record in providing client satisfaction
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, with the capability to structure and solve problems using a hypothesis based approach
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • A self-starter, assertive, with a high degree of self-confidence
  • Practical experience in two or more of the following:
  • Fixed network and video (DTV/IPTV/OTT etc.) service Strategy or strategic planning
  • Fixed network and video (DTV/IPTV/OTT etc.) service project support and business case analysis
  • Fixed network and video (DTV/IPTV/OTT etc.)service benchmarking and Best Practice Analysis
  • In-depth understanding of telecom O&M processes(ITIL, eTOM etc.).
  • Demonstrated leadership and relationship-building skills
