Unix/Linus Systems Support Engineer - NATO - Belgium - SHAPE.
Our client is a leading top tier supplier of secure IT solutions to the whole of the global NATO network. Working directly SHAPE HQ we are looking for a NATO Security cleared systems administrator/engineer that can provide direct CIS solutions to a wide range of operational and in theatre environments.
This is obviously a 24/7 standard operation - and you will have direct experience of managing and supporting operational and NATO Commanders. You will be providing second and third tier software and systems support so that the service management division of the NATO Communication and Information agency can guarantee total operational support and coverage.
You will have the following:
3 years experience administering functional area services or similar mission systems - ie land, air, joint command and control systems, encompassing in theatre database systems.
Web services
Service orientated architectures
Administration of web Servers.
Virtualisation technologies.
Exp of testing software applications.
Database admin on any of the following: MS SQL, Oracle or POSTGRESSQL RDBMS.
ITIL
CIS Service desk - Ideally with operational theatre.
UNIX. Linux. WINDOWS systems.
NATO Security Cleared.
