Description
Interim Finance Director is required for a UK-based multi-commodity trader/refinery. The requirement is to provide maternity cover for up to 12 month. The ideal candidate will have experience within soft commodities ideally sugar, cocoa and coffee.
Key responsibilities
- Liaising with members of the leadership team regarding business forecasting and financial and governance matters
- Providing strategic financial management and leadership
- Providing comprehensive financial analysis to a broad spectrum of business decisions and operational issues
- Ensuring that effective financial controls are in place and are being utilized within the organisation
Experience required:
- Physical commodity experience is mandatory
- Qualified accountant with proven experience in successively challenging financial managerial leadership positions
- Global or international company experience of leading teams and working in an international, multi-cultural engagement
- Pro-active experience in proposing change and identifying problem areas - ability to anticipate financial risk and mitigate
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
