Contract Software Engineer - Blackburn - C - C++ - Java - Eclipse SDKDue to continued success my Client is now looking for a Contract Software Engineer to join their team in Blackburn immediately.
The Clients Design Division provides a range of tools for developers. These include C/C++ Compilers, assemblers, GUI debuggers, instruction set simulators, development boards and hardware debugging systems. These tools are provided for both Microsoft Windows and UNIX host environments and support software development for all of the client's CPUs both with, and in advance of the availability of, target silicon. The client's Blackburn Design Centre specializes in Hardware and Software Debug solutions.
C/C++ Compilers - Assemblers - GUI debuggers - Instruction set simulators - Development boards - Hardware debugging - IC Software - Eclipse IDE - Eclipse SDK - Java - SWT - ARM Processors - Contract
The successful candidate will be tasked with creating new Java/SWT implementations of existing tools written in C/C++ along with other migration tasks.
To be considered for this role you must possess the skills/experiences;
Expert programmer in Java
Experience of the Eclipse IDE and Eclipse SDK
Proven ability to produce quality GUI solutions using Java and the SWT
Experience of network programming
Experience of using JNI to interface to work with native code
Experience of ARM debug and trace architectures and tools
