A fantastic opportunity has arisen within one of Europe's leading pharmaceutical contract manufacturers or a QA compliance officer to join their manufacturing site based in the Midlands. The organisation have a rich product pipeline and this role presents a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Assurance professional to gain valuable exposure to range of different manufacturing process.

The successful candidate would assume the following Role and Responsibilities:
  • Write Product Quality Reviews to plan and in a format that meets both regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Monitor and manage the organisations Change Control system, chair validation and change control committees as required and produce accurate and timely minutes.
  • Support the maintenance of a licensed facility by hosting visits from the Trading Standards Office, Home Office and Customs and Excise, maintaining records in a compliant and auditable format including the annual Controlled Drugs returns, maintaining MHRA Manufacturer's Licenses and documentation to support ISO accreditation.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a quality system that is both practical and complies with all relevant legislative requirements. This includes writing procedures, managing the updating of expired or obsolete procedures and ensuring all procedures are finalised to required timeframes.


The Individual
  • You should be of graduate calibre with a minimum of 3 years experience in a Pharmaceutical/FMCG environment.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical legislation, licensed product processes and legislation would be an advantage.
  • Attention to detail
  • An effective team player, who works with little supervision.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build internal and external networks.
