Front-End HTML5/Javascript Developer - Manchester - £200 - £260 Per Day(HTML5/CSS3/Javascript)
My large well-known global client has a fantastic contract opportunity for a Front-End HTML5/Javascript developer.
The client is based Manchester and specialises mainly in the transport and aerospace industry.
They have recently gained a new contract which is a traffic information service contract, whereby collects, processes and responds to traffic data for their client.
The role will consist of working as part of quite a large team of software designers and developers working on a web application in the transport industry. You will be responsible for work on the front end of a large intranet application.
The main tasks will be taking either wireframes or HTML templates and supporting the software scrum teams in creating backbone.js views ready for server side development. Some work in tuning wireframes to usable HTML templates will be required so an eye for detail is essential.

- Good communicator
Desirable:
- Experience of Agile
- Git
- Javascript frameworks - specifically backbone.js and jQuery
- RESTful web services
Contract Location: Manchester
Contract Length: Initially 3 months with a very high possibility of extension
Contract Rate: £200 - £300 per day dependant on skill set
