I am currently working with a Local Authority based in the Midlands who are looking for an experienced an Interim Service Development Manager with business knowledge of Special Educational Needs and Inclusion, Schools and Learning functions.

The authority are currently implementing a challenging programme of change across a number of projects including;

  • The implementation of the 'High Needs Block' and budget pressures within this.
  • Integrated Disabilities Service redesign
  • Changes in Early Years Service.

The interim must be able to develop a stronger governance structure across projects - working with Service Managers to harness their passion and formalise process. This will involve robust challenging of planning processes and solutions. You will also provide the business unit with a financial rigour and analysis in order to achieve savings targets.

This is an initial 3 month contract (potential extensions), working toward a start date for July.
