Title: CAD Engineers 

Salary: to £20 per hour

Location: Bucks, M40 corridor 

My client is a growing company developing bespoke special purpose machinery and are a tier one supplier for the UK's leading automotive and aerospace manufacturers. As a result of significant sales growth they are recruiting Mechanical Design and CAD Engineers. 

Reporting to the Design Manager, you will lead design on new equipment from concept to commissioning. You will work directly with clients, suppliers and team members to ensure customers receive a quality system that can be delivered on time and in budget. You will prepare drawing/documentation packs and issue to project engineers, prepare pneumatics diagrams from detail sketches, update drawings to include as built information from workshop, design changes, and additional manufacturing information needed during production and produce 3D models and assembly/detail drawings as required for workshop designed equipment. 

Projects are fast paced and varied. Working as part of a team you will need to be proactive, and a good communicator. You should be comfortable working to deadlines and be confident making design decisions. 

Essential:

An Engineering related degree, excellent design skills and attention to detail, experience with design and draughting in both 2D and 3D CAD (computer automated design) using SolidWorks, some experience designing specialist machinery with moving parts is essential.

Useful:

Exposure to the automobile or aerospace industries, experience designing lifting or hoisting equipment, conveyors etc.
