A Leeds based client is looking to recruit a Microsoft Server specialist to join the ICT Services team.This varied role is responsible for delivering in a number of key areas which include:
? technical solution design and implementation as part of the major Project Lifecycle and the Infrastructure Development Programme
? design & delivery as part of the Small Project Lifecycle
? providing 3rd level support to ICT Systems and solutions.
? investigation, analysis and exploitation of new and emerging Microsoft technologies
You will need to have a strong Microsoft background and a thorough understanding of Microsoft products and technologies with extensive experience in the design, delivery and support of solutions based on Microsoft SQL Server within the Enterprise.
This should include;
* Extensive use and development of MS SQL Server ,
* Configuration, security, tuning, performance and fault analysis of MS SQL databases & Development of stored procedures,
* Consolidation & virtualisation of SQL instances, use of SQL clustering
* Utilisation of SQL Server Integration Services , SQL Server Analysis Services , SQL Server Reporting Services
* MS PowerShell scripting
* Windows Server 2008 & Active Directory
The role is for 3-6 months initially, and the rate is between £300 - £350 per day dependent on experience.
