I have, in the last hour, had a job arise in theNewcastlearea with a leading software house that needs to be filled ASAP. To quote the hiring manager, he needed somone yesterday! This role, based in Gateshead, is a 6 month minimum contract, with a likelihood of renewal at the end of it.The role is maintaining a client web portal for stakeholders in an MVC framework, using ASP.NET and C#. Due to this, the following skills are required for the role -
- 3 years exp MVC3/4
- ASP.NET
- C#
- Desirable (but not essential) IT related degree.
My client will screen CV's Monday, and interviews will be confirmed on Tuesday with any candidates that they wish to take forward. The interview process will be 2 stages, with interviews with both directors.
Due to the scarcity and difficulty of finding contract work in the North East at the moment, this is an opportunity I would recommend taking up, especially if you are looking for a foot in the door with a leading software house.
