My exclusive client is a leading pharmaceutical company based in Sligo and they are urgently seeking a Quality Assurance Lead on a 6 month contract.
This company offers great opportunity for progression, an attractive facility and a good atmosphere to work in.

Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the quality systems within the Value Stream ensuring compliance with the QMS, site procedures, and GMP.
- Ensure all batches are manufactured, tested and checked in accordance with GMP regulations and registered details.
- Release product into the market (QP qualification required)
- To be able to identify multiple options when faced with an issue and to identify risks and potential mitigations.
- To be able to present possible solutions rather than issues to the Value Stream Leader.
- To be clear in the communication of these options
- Supporting an environment within the Value Stream of open, honest two way communication.
- Being clear both in written and spoken communication. To be swift in response and to ensure accuracy at all times with information.
- Take ownership and responsibility for your PDP to ensure development opportunities are identified and achieved.
- Supporting effective communication within the Value Stream and externally to support the effective flow of information, building rapport and collaborative
relationships with others.
- Ensure that any interaction/communication with colleagues and visitors will be conducted in a respectful and courteous manner, being open, honest and consistent.
- Ensuring each batch has been manufactured, tested and checked in accordance with approved specifications and procedures.
- Lead quality compliance within the value stream.

Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years experience within a Pharmaceutical / Medical Device / GMP environment.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements and application in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to identify and evaluate current and emerging technologies, best practices and assess their applicability to address the organisation's needs.
- Ability to see the bigger picture and understand the impact across the organisation
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- QP Qualification
- Proven track record of leading teams/groups in the effective delivery of key targets.
- People management skills.
- Design and engage in solutions and improvements.
- Identification and implementation of process efficiencies.
- Knowledge and understanding of operation of value streams
