Embedded Software/ Firmware Engineer - Permanent - West Sussex I have a brand new opportunity for an Embedded Software/ Firmware Engineer to join a growing electronics company based in West Sussex. This is a full time, permanent position and we are looking to interview immediately. You will be joining a multi-disciplined team of engineers to be responsible for the design and development of embedded control systems for power supply units. These will include bespoke customer requirements to modifications and updates to the existing product range. Your role will also include providing internal software support throughout initial product launch to production, and after sales support to customers. In these ways, we are looking for for someone who enjoys a well rounded role and can work in a fast paced, demanding environment. Requirements:- degree educated in electronics engineering or a related discipline (2:1 or 1:1)
- proven commercial experience in embedded software/ firmware development
- microcontroller design (16 and 32 bit, ideally PIC or Atmel)
- hardware integration
- programming in C/ C++
- object oriented programming
This will suit a talented Embedded Software/ Firmware Engineer with experience of working in a custom design environment, working on bespoke projects. Project timescales can vary from 4 weeks through to 18 months.
