Senior Java Developer/programmer/engineer (SQL, Windows)
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior Java developer to join a leading banking client in Denmark.
The ideal candidate will be expected to carry out the following tasks and possess the following skills:
Java - 5-10 years
Bank and finance - 3-5 years
Microsoft SQL Server - 3-5 years
My client in Denmark requires a strong Java developer to begin developing a new framework for interfacing between the retail online Investering platform and Capital Markets. The interface will include Real Time order and trade flow as well as position management. The system developed must be highly available, reliable, effecient and easy to operate and maintain.
The area is Equities (Front Office) and the projects are Integration projects between systems and databases. The first project will be a reconciliation project between retail systems and capital markets systems for client accounts. The databases are SQL Server. The operating system will be Windows. The developer must be senior, as we will ask her/him to also setup the foundation for the new development team when it gets in place. For example, setting up the development environment, integrating with version control, setting up the build/release process.
