Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, your primary purpose in this position is to provide Level 2/3 ITIL support for the implementation of a large desktop virtualisation project.
Duties:
- Providing Level 2/3 support to the Microsoft and Citrix desktop and application virtualisation platforms including system administration duties as directed.
- Management of Incidents and Problem records.
- Work with other project staff to understand the impact of upcoming changes to the virtualisation platform.
Skills:
- Experience in providing system/server administration with some of the following technologies:
- Server 2008 R2
- Windows Server 2008 System Administration
- Windows SQL Server 2008
- Windows virtualisation products (ie. SCVMM, App-V, Hyper-V)
- Windows System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)
- Windows System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- Extensive experience troubleshooting of software based electronic systems and/or IT infrastructure.
- Experience working within Systems Engineering life cycle.
- Experience with authoring/reviewing technical documentation.
