Spend Manager
Montreal are currently looking for a "Spend Manager" for a contract period who will be responsible for managing the procurement function on behalf of our customers through execution and coordination of a variety of delivery teams across the existing services. Spend Management must appropriately manage customer projects to exceed customer expectations, and will require a combination of hands-on contract management and shared service coordination depending upon the situation.
The Spend Manager will translate the customer expectations and requirement into deliverables and will serve as the coordinator in the execution tasks.
Preferred Experience:
* Experience applying a structured sourcing process to the management of specific commodities from analysis through final contract negotiations.
* Experience developing, negotiating and maintaining long-term contractual relationships with customers and suppliers
* Strong customer facing and relationship building experience
* Demonstrated experience in developing long term plans for entire categories not only unique contracts
* Strong program management experience
* Experience identifying issues and coordinating cross-functional resources to meet common goals
Basic Minimum Qualifications
* English, plus either French or German. Swedish is a nice to have
* Bachelors/University Degree
* 3 - 5 years of professional experience (procurement, supply chain consulting or customer/supplier management experience preferred)
* High level of Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Ability to travel up to 80%
