Quantitative Quality Assurance Analyst

Summary:

RELOCATION AVAILABLE! Members of the Quantitative Quality Assurance Test Team will use their quantitative skills to build test strategies and cases to validate models and ensure that model outputs conform to expected results. Findings and results will be presented to internal stake holders for review for impact to releases, and overall QA/QC company process. Membership on this team is ideal for professionals with solid grounding in quantitative finance, which can be applied within the financial and insurance industries. This is a 6 month contract, with an opportunity to extend, for someone with a solid math and risk analysis background. Our client is a leader in the Financial Services Industry and serves customers in more than 65 countries. This is a fast-moving and dynamic environment, and our client is looking for motivated, results-oriented people to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for validating statistical and mathematical quantitative models.
  • Prepare analytical test result reports and technical documents for model validation.
  • Ability to review technical requirements with quantitative terminology to produce test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases for the quant models
  • Performs all aspects of verification, including functional, structural, regression and system testing.
  • Experience participating in all aspects of a full software development life cycle methodology, and related quality concepts and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Finance, Applied Math, Economics, Computer Science
  • 2+ years experience working with scientific or financial models
  • Experience with both White Box and Black Box Testing.
  • Experience in test automation (regression and performance).
  • Extensive knowledge of testing process, testing methodology analysis and defect reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently and productively under pressure.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
