Based in Gloucestershire, our client is currently seeking an immediate Contract Software Engineer who is comfortable with carrying out extensive GUI design for windows. The successful candidate must be highly proficient in C++ and be available to start within a week for a 6 month initial contract. Please respond now for further details.
Key requirements:
Software Engineer (GUI Designer)
Very proficient in C++
Experienced in GUI design for Windows using standard frameworks e.g. VisualStudio
Ideally experienced in Qt 4 framework
Experienced in working to coding guidelines and standards (e.g. MISRA)
Capable of producing quality documentation, both user manuals and technical documentation (e.g. Doxygen or similar)
Understands and has experience of unit testing
Has experience of static analysis tools (PC-lint, Valgrind, FxCop or similar)
Able to work alone or as part of a small team
Able to take broad description of requirements, propose solutions and code to completion
