Embedded Software EngineerJob Type: ContractLocation: OxfordshireStart Date: ASAPDuration: Six MonthsSalary: £30 - £40 per hourControl Systems Engineer required to develop the powertrains and flywheels for hybrid electronic vehicles. Candidates are required to have a wide range of applicable skills (listed below) as well as a proven track record in team leadership. This is an exciting proposition with a strong possibility of extension beyond the initial six month engagement. The skill and experience required are:
- Coding of Matlab and/or Simulink in C and a proven track record of adapting skills across various test rigs
- Experience of working with Hybrid Electric Vehicles
- Experience of Control System design and simulation
- Proven track record of implementing the whole software life cycle
- Experience of developing to Automotive standards
- Experience at working to board level on Electronics
- Some High level Software Development experience (VC#, VC++ and VB)
Some UK based travel will be required of candidates in this role.
