One of ACT's high profile Federal Government departments is seeking an experienced Change Co-ordinator to play an integral role in a large program of work. This is a rare 12 month contract to start in the new financial year with the view to be extended.

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following;

  • Working to the SAP Business Change Manager, ensure that the programme delivers the products and services that will lead to operational benefit(s) as envisaged for the SAP Development Programme
  • Preparing the affected business areas for the transition to the new functionality and new ways of working
  • Taking the lead on transition management; ensuring that business as usual is maintained during the transition and the changes are effectively integrated into the business.
  • Identifying, defining and tracking the benefits and outcomes required of the programme and ensuring that the interests of the sponsoring group are met.
  • Leading the activities associated with benefits realisation and ensuring that continued accrual of benefits can be achieved and measured after the program has been completed.


To be considered for this role you will need to meet the following criteria;

  • Knowledge of Australian Federal Government financial accounting practices.
  • Detailed knowledge of the Australian Federal Government financial management business environment, preferably with direct business experience (both in the Australian and overseas environment).
  • Excellent communication skills and experience - both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of relevant management techniques, for example:
    • Business change techniques, such as business process re-engineering.
    • Benefits identification, modelling and management techniques.
