Our client is running a project in Vilnius/Lithuania and looking for contractors:
Senior Remote Desktop Support Engineer (6 months Contractor)
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Responding to customer generated incidents
Meeting required service level agreements
Produce problem documentation and work with other support personnel to resolve complex system problems
Assist in the analysis and definition of complex hardware and/or software related problems via telephone and remotely. Retain call ownership throughput problem resolution process on assigned calls
Liaise with other internal/external teams and/or vendors during problem resolution
Process request approvals
Provide call triage and task dispatch
Provide out of hours support
Essential skills:
7-8 years of experience as a Remote Desktop Support Engineer
Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Windows 7 platforms
Microsoft Office suite
System Administration experience in a distributed environments
Proven understanding and use of remote tools
Ability to communicate and maintain close working relationships with other support and development teams
Ability to cope under pressure in a highly visible environment
Demonstrate a high level of technical support knowledge
