Description
We are looking for a strong Systems/Network Engineer to join our growing team for a contract opportunity. You will play a vital role in bringing together various network devices, operating systems, application platforms, computing devices, user/corporate data and security platforms into stable and fully functional networks. You will work hand-in-hand with our clients as well as internal and third-party resources to ensure that software solutions interface properly with the clients' network infrastructure.
You should have 5 years of experience with the following:
- Backups and Disaster Recovery - installing and customizing backup and replication software and appliances
- Network Engineering - installing and configuring general LAN based networking devices like Routers and Switches
- Basic Network Security - installing and configuring Firewalls and remote access appliances
- Active Directory - setting up AD and migrating users/groups and policies
- Server Migration - backing up and migrating server applications, data and other settings either to new Servers and or new domains
- Workstation Migration - backing up and migrating user desktop profiles, data and other settings either to new workstations or new domains
- VSI - VMware ESXi/Vsphere - installing and customizing Virtual Server Host Infrastructure from VMware
- Data Migration - setting up Microsoft Exchange and migrating mail from older or other platforms
