Responsibilities

  • Direct, organize, and lead projects in the implementation and use of new SAP software tools and systems
  • Configure Client's SAP NetWeaver Portal including content management, knowledge management, TREX search, SSO security, team rooms, proxies, and enterprise workspaces  
  • Lead the efforts to develop the integration layer between SAP Portals and SAP ECC, CRM, BW, BOBJ, and non-SAP applications
  • Lead the efforts to develop new SAP portal applications which will be integrated with SAP ECC, CRM, and BI
  • Lead the efforts to develop iViews as needed for business process enhancements
  • Design, code, configure, test, and document all new or modified web applications, and programs
  • Assist in the design of databases and data warehouses to ensure interoperability with BI solutions
  • Analyze user requirements and based on findings, design functional specifications for SAP web applications
  • Produce ETL design guidelines to ensure a manageable ETL infrastructure for the SAP web applications
  • Develop and administer user support documentation and provide training and coaching to end users and team members
  • Document and control all changes made to productions systems via Client's change control process
  • Provide SAP demonstrations to the team to validate design
  • Conduct job duties and responsibilities according to the organization's business systems development methodology and/or its Systems Development Life Cycle

 Responsibilities cont-

  • Design and deliver training and training materials; provide technical support as necessary
  • Troubleshoot portal tools, systems, and software; performance-tune these applications as necessary
  • Act as evangelist for SAP web application benefits across the organization; promote SAP portal usage throughout the organization
  • Provide SAP NetWeaver training modules for IT and Business Stakeholders
  • Mentor other team members in SAP portal technology

Position Requirements

  • At least 2 full life cycle SAP Portal implementations including post go-live support
  • At least 3 years acting as a technical project lead
  • At least 5 years experience  developing with SAP Web Dynpro for ABAP and Java
  • At least 5 years experience developing proxies, reverse proxies, and RFCs
  • At least 3 years SAP unification experience, integrating SAP NetWeaver Portals with other SAP applications including ECC, CRM, and BI
  • At least 3 years configuring SAP NetWeaver Portals content management and TREX
  • At least 3 years configuring SAP NetWeaver Portal Enterprise Workspaces and SAP Enterprise Portal Business Packages
  • At least 3 years experience configuring SAP Single-Sign-On security via Portals
  • Demonstrate knowledge of SAP Infotypes for SD, CRM, MM, and FI
  • Experience creating new SAP iViews which interact with ECC and/or CRM
  • Experience creating new SAP iViews for BI dashboards using BW and BOBJ
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws a plus
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Education

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering.
