One of the leading energy operators in Northern Europe is looking for an Installation Engineer (Substation Jacket Foundation) for an offshore wind farm project. Reporting to the Foundation Package Manager to supervise and coordinate the design for installation, supervise load out, transportation and installation of the Offshore Substation Jacket Foundation in respect to time, cost, safety, interfaces and quality.


Main Responsibilities

- Key focal point and owner for all activities carried out within the contract package
- Supervise all day to day commercial and contractual issues
- Expedite the activities to hold the programme
- Ensure mitigation of risks
- Coordinate the installation programme with the Logistics Manager
- Promote and ensure HSE CDM requirements are implemented
- Assist the Foundation Package Manager to provide monthly progress reports for the Project Manager
- Ensure the deliverables meet the quality requirements
- Coordinate interfaces with other packages
- Assist in the resolution of supplier technical queries
- Technical review/comment of supplier deliverables
- Direct Reports: Installation Vessel Reps


Role Requirements

- Jacket Installation: Proven track record in supervising the installation of Jacket Foundations.
- Dispute Resolution: Proven ability to manage dispute situations with Contractors
- Valuing work in progress (including claims).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent IT and presentation skills.
- Strong team player
