My client, a top EPC company here in Houston on the west side is looking for a Subsea Flow Assurance Engineer to join their team. Please read the description below and attach a CV if interested.

Responsibilities will include developing process and flow assurance design premise, methodology statements, and flow assurance report deliverables. The flow assurance engineer will perform process system fluid characterization and thermal-hydraulic analyses as well to develop flow assurance design inclusive of steady state and simulations to address pipe sizing, thermal performance, and flow regime. The candidate will develop reports inclusive of mitigation and management of potential hydrate, wax deposition, slugging, gelling, and corrosion. Some of the task includes procedures to address, start up, shut down, chemical injection, pigging and wax deposition analyses. She/he will summarize results for client deliverables in technical reports and presentation formats under flow assurance manager supervision.

Skills & Experience
  • Five or more years of experience in the offshore oil and gas industry.
  • Minimum of Bachelors degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum engineering
  • Experience in offshore operations relating to flow assurance and subsea processing
  • Experience and working knowledge of industry standard thermal hydraulic analysis tools including OLGA7, PVTSIM, PIPESIM-NET, and MULTIFLASH
