Senior Pre-Sales Market Specialist needed ASAP for leading global application software providerOur client an award winning software provider is seeking a candidate to join its worldwide team in the above role working with clients at the very top of the financial industry. Responsibilities
- Become the expert in a specific asset class and extend that knowledge base through the sales and customer support organization to worldwide clients
- Provide demonstrations to clients in the sales process and translate their business requirements into functional specifications that match their needs
- Understand and stay current on key business requirements of their market in order to react to changing needs
- Performing customer requirements analysis through extensive interaction with the client.
- Present tailored solutions to satisfy customer's needs.
Skills & Requirements:
- 5-8 years of industry experience.
- Detailed knowledge of one of the following: Interest Rate, Commodity and Equity Credit, Foreign Exchange, and their derivatives alternatively back office derivatives
- Strong ability to map business concepts to practical system capabilities.
- Understand the competitive offering landscape in one of the above asset classes and be able to tailor presentations accordingly.
- Technical skills (Java/C++) are a plus although not compulsory
- Experience designing/building back office systems for clients
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills in order to work closely customers.
- Willingness and ability to travel to meet with clients.
- Ambition and Drive to work manage accounts with leading financial clients worldwide.
