Description
For a client in Brussels I am looking for an experienced B2B Developer to perform Integration Testing and Perl Development for creation of functional blocks. Practical knowledge of Web Services testing and AIXM (V5.1) is critical.
The successful candidate will be responsible to prepare and set-up tests for new functionalities in accordance to the requirements.
Expected activities:
- You will be responsible for system integration testing in relation to critical B2B services which are delivered to both internal and external users
- Manage the program interface - B2B test framework
- Be responsible for volume testing and will have to prepare, specify, develop and execute automated tests
- You will also communicate with the Architecture Team, therefore a basic understanding of architecture and its environment is essential.
Profile:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in working with a Scripting language, preferably PERL (other Scripting languages could also be considered: ksh, Tcl/tk)
- Sound knowledge of Web Services
- Practical knowledge with AIXM (V 5.1)
- Experience with XML
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software integration activities in a Unix/Linux environment
- Good understanding of C and/or Java
- Experience in open source test tools such as: Selenium, Grinder, Fest
- Good knowledge in Web/Portal applications
- Experience in writing and executing complex technical test cases and technical documentation
- Experience with mission critical systems is desirable
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
