Front End Web Developer - HTML, JavaScript, CSS - Rennes, France for 6 months.
This position is working on an English and French speaking site and the Front End Developer will need to fluent in both languages. You will be responsible for the technical development for the design and development of Rich Web Applications for phone, tablet and the web.
Main Responsibilities:
*Work with Project Manager during Requirements Definition phase, providing advice on how to deliver the best application.
* Deliver applications and solutions to resolve complex Telecoms use-cases.
*Active team contributor with initiative and can-do attitude
Required Technical Skills:
*Strong experience of Javascript/HTML5/AJAX/JSON and CSS3
*Hands-on experience with open source software platforms and languages (eg Java, Linux, Apache etc.)
*Hands-on experience of grid computing using Oracle Coherence, MapReduce or similar.
*Strong Experience in Scripting languages eg Python, AWK, Bash, Pig
*Experience integrating with REST API's and security knowledge.
*Experience with ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) tools.
*Knowledge of cloud computing infrastructure
*Strong troubleshooting skills.
*Excellent attention to detail.
*Strong verbal and written communication skills.
