Required Skills:
7+ years of Operations Experience (preferred) or Systems Administration experience
Oracle Fusion Middleware experience (OAM,OIM,OID, OVD), WebCenter 11g (preferred)
WebLogic experience (BEA WebLogic 9.2 and above)
PL/SQL knowledge, SQL Plus
DNS fundamentals, including diagnostics with Unix tools
Network fundamentals, including diagnostics with Unix tools
OHS Proxy Server or Apache 2.0 and/or 2.2
VMware fundamentals
Generating and managing SSL certificates using openssl
Knowledge of Load Balancers, Network, and Firewalls
Knowledge of Enterprise Deployment strategies, High-availability and clustering, and disaster recovery
Strong knowledge in J2EE development and deployment (WebLogic). - WLST, HTML, JavaScript, JSP, JavaBeans, Servlets, Java, JDBC, UNIX, Perl, Korn Shell, XML, JMS/MQ, AWT and
Must be US-based
Degree is required - BS/BBA in Computer Science or MIS

Operations teams provide support on a 24x7 basis and weekend, night and holiday scheduling will be required.

As a part of our Operations Team, you'll be responsible for the installation and configuration, and support of Oracle Fusion Middleware Products and the integration of these Products with LDAP. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will have both direct (onsite visits, phone) and indirect (via email) contact with many different teams to assist in installing, configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining complex web server configurations that may include Apache, Oracle Identity and Access Management/SOA and Oracle WebCenter. You must have knowledge of web hosting technologies, Linux/Unix operating systems, Oracle Database 11g, Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle WebLogic.

Engineering and Provisionioning:
Engineering of SA-related solutions for various project and operational needs
Install new/rebuild existing Servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
Design, install and configure, and support systems for Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Technology Stack
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures for different environments.
Contribute to and maintain system standards and best practices
Knowledge of ITIL V3 specifically event, incident, problem and change management.
Knowledge on ticketing tools ie Remedy etc.
Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.
Maintenance
Apply OS and software patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure/add new services as necessary
Upgrade and configure system software that supports clients infrastructure applications or external projects or operational needs
Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures
Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning
Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required
Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment
