Mobile Application Architect - Product Engineering - J2ME, Android
Milan, Italy/6 months/€250 - €300 a day
Arrows Group is looking to recruit on behalf of a global IT consultancy a Mobile Application Architect for one of their premium clients, based in Milan, Italy. This would initially be for 6 months but is a long term opportunity. The ideal candidate will have 7 - 10 years experience.
Our client is looking for a Mobile Application Architect who has previously contributed towards design and architecture for small to medium size mobile projects as a Tech Lead, Senior Developer or Architect.
Requirements:
- Experience of 3 or more mobile projects as tech lead or higher.
- Experience with Android technologies
- J2ME experience - design, architect and implement, in a optimised way, a J2ME application
- Handset Smart Client product suite experience
- Experience in one or more of the following platforms: J2ME/J2EE/.NET/iPhone/Android/Blackberry/GIS
- Experience in one or more of: GPS/Control/Roaming/LBS/PIM/SyncML/SIP, RTP, RTCP/SQL/ESRI tools/Mobile Device Management.
- Experience with GUI generation
- Good knowledge and understanding of Mobile Data Synchronization, Mobile Data Security, WAP enablement, Mobile Device
- Experience mentoring and developing junior members.
- Stakeholder management skills.
