Consumer PR Manager/PR Officer/Senior PR Advisor
I am recruiting for a Consumer PR Manager to come and working for a leading Telecommunications company based in Berkshire on a 3 month contract. So we are looking for candidates available to start within a week. This is an intermediate level role.
As the Consumer PR Manager you will be responsible for persuading the media and other influencers to tell the story of our client. You will deliver a best in class PR function and cut-through consumer campaigns, working with agencies and colleagues to deliver a consistent and compelling message and drive their reputation, particularly amongst the mainstream 'early majority' audience.
Your main responsibilities will include;
*Work closely with the retained PR agency and internal team to run a smooth and efficient press office function, ensuring a constant stream of positive coverage- reactive and proactive.
*Lead on creative storytelling, responding to media requests, handling customer issues, developing and maintaining relationships with the media, managing a device loads programme and drafting award entries.
*Supporting other campaign activity and events that the Consumer PR team delivers.
*All media relations across national, trade, lifestyle and consumer technology on a daily basis.
*Building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders.
*Some budgetary responsibility.
The key skills and experience required for the role are;
*In-house or agency PR experience.
*Proven track record of delivering successful PR campaigns.
*Confidence and experience of dealing with Media relations on a daily basis, and contacts within the industry.
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
*Ability to produce compelling presentations and reports.
