Environment & Tool Specialist - Murex
My Client is looking for a Murex contractor for 6 months to work in Stockholm Sweden. You will be working on the FX Risk Management ONT Project which aims to replace the old FX solution with Murex. The project reached DP2 in December 2012 and the Implementation Phase is targeted to be completed April 2014. The Project organisation is divided into 9 streams, where one is called Environments. The Environments stream will build the necessary DEV, TEST and Production environments that the project requires.
You will be responsible for the design, installation, support and maintenance of the Murex environments (DEV/TEST/PROD) during the project. You will be expected to have detailed knowledge of Unix (Solaris), Sybase and Murex 3.1. It is vital that you are fluent in English since the project organisation consists of many different nationalities. you will be expected to work tightly with an existing (external) Environment specialist that has been in the project since 2012.
Further more you will assist in finalising the installation of the Murex DEV/TEST environment and then provide support to the other project streams, assist in building the Pre-Prod and Prod environments and assist in installing the Drops from Murex (at least two more delivery drops are expected from Murex).
