Description
Our reputable telecommunications client is currently looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join them on an initial 6 month contract.
You will be heavily involved in the optimisation and management of the 2G, 3G and 4G mobile network. You will be expected to exploit the full range of technical solutions to improve network capacity and performance within technical and business guidelines with a particular emphasis on wireless broadband performance.
Essential Skills and Experience -
- Strong experience in mobile networks design and optimisation.
- Sound Analytical Skills of network performance and an understanding of performance counters
- Sound 2G, 3G and 4G network optimisation skills and understanding of all mobile testing equipment functionalities
- Sound understanding of Radio propagation theory and modelling
- Cellular Network Theory
- Traffic Theory
- GSM, UMTS and LTE Systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good hands on in NSN and/or Huawei network
- A good level of expertise in 2G, 3G and 4G including Inter-working technology
- Good understanding of related technical areas such as IP, ATM, microwave radio and transmission network design
- Australian Drivers Licence
