Contracts Administrator & Quality Representative

We are currently looking to recruit a Contracts & Quality Representative to joint our own growing team. We are looking ideally for someone who has previous experience in raising and administering contract paperwork. You will have good computer skills, a pleasant telephone manner and the ability to work under pressure to help support the every day running of the contracts department.

This role will be to cover maternity leave and we expect the role to be for an 18 month fixed term contract starting NO later than the 29th July 2013 running until December 2014; depending on the business needs this position will either finish or will be extended for a longer period/made permanent.

Main Skills:

  • Arrange, raise send out and monitor contract documentation for all clients and candidates.
  • Explaining contract clauses to clients and candidates.
  • Logging, monitoring and chasing for outstanding contract paperwork both internally and externally.
  • Carrying out inductions for new staff starting which will include, systems training, H&S process, fire procedures, risk assessments etc.
  • Diary Management for Director's.
  • Monitoring the business ensuring we adhere to the BS5750/ISO policy standards.
  • Rollout of new policies & procedures across the company.
  • Yearly appraisals, minute taking and assisting the Directors with setting new staff objectives.
  • Maintaining the staff holiday file.
  • Minute taking.
  • Liaising with Recruitment Consultants/External Clients/Candidates on behalf of the business.
  • Data entry with 100% accuracy.
  • Research and renew company insurances to reduce company expenditure.
  • Monitor and organise courses - first aid/fire marshal/REC courses & maintain the correct amount of staff qualified staying inline with the health and safety regulations.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge and understanding of employment/contract law would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Knowledge of QA (Quality Assurance) would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Certified as either first aider or fire marshal would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge within the Recruitment/Defence industry would be an advantage.

General duties will include:

  • Diary entries
  • Administration support - Filing, typing, faxing, photocopying, database entry.
  • Answering the telephone.
