A key defence client based in the High Wycombe area is currently on the look out for a software lead design engineer to join their team on a contract basis, the position is likely to be for around 3months.
The Vital skills they need for this contractor are:
Kernel Development:
VxWorks (relatively recent, at least version 6)
Linux
Windows KMDF (optional but an advantage)
Cygwin (Optional but an advantage)
Driver Experience:
Interrupts
Multi-threaded
VirtualPhysical mapping, EG with DMA driver chain descriptors
Testing:
Unit Testing
Test Framworks such as test stand an advantage
Labview (optional, but an advantage)
General:
Bash
Python (optional)
Perl (Optional)
