Brevco Services is currently looking for VTC Technicians/Engineers for a NATO Project they are supporting in Mons, Belgium.
Essential Skills:
The individual(s) must have
- The successful applicant must have strong interpersonal skills, be able to workwithin a team environment and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A professional or vocational education in Tele-Communications System Engineering or related field experience
- A minimum of four years experience working as tier 2 or tier 3 VTC operations and support
- sound practical experience in the design, development, implementation,testing and maintenance of modern communications, or information systems in a LAN/WAN environment
- Journeyman level knowledge of H.323 video conferencing standards
- recent experience in the operation and management of digital switched networks and associated telecommunication systems to include multiplexinge quipment and/or VTC systems
- Demonstrable knowledge of implementation and use of LAN, WAN andVTCmonitoring tools
- Familiarity and be capable to make effective use of the Microsoft Office toolset
- Troubleshooting of AV Conferencing systems
- Have extensive working experience with major video conferencing equipmentsuch as: Polycom and Cisco codec's, Polycom and Tandberg MCU configurations and end points
- Extensive experience working with Polycom CMA, DMX and RMX MCUs
- Knowledge and hands on technical experience with AV equipment such as:Analog and digital video and audio routing
- Knowledge of network topology
- Knowledge of video over IP
Desirable Skills:
- Have recent experience in working with NATO and be familiar with the Organisation's method of operation, or have multi-national experience
- Demonstrate a wide breadth of knowledge of Secure information systems and their management
- Polycom Certified Video Engineer
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Have experience of working within a Secure Military Environment
- Have proven knowledge of service driven environments.
