Description
My client is based in Copenhagen and they are looking for a Senior VMWare consultant to start ASAP for an initial 3Month rolling contract.
Employment Type: Full time - Contract.
You will have a skill set and competences that match the following:
Design, manage and operate services running in a cloud environment(based on VMware).
Review entire environment and execute initiatives to reduce failures, defects and improving overall performance.
Experience in Systems Administration and deployment of distributed application(based on Microsoft windows server).
Advanced troubleshooting and monitoring of service systems to ensure adequate SLA, capacity and expansion requirements.
Review entire environment and execute initiatives to reduce failures, and improve overall performance.
Document architectures, procedures, processes and handover documents.
Experience with a big European firm is preferred.
4+ years hands on experience with VMware Virtual Center/vSphere and other VMware enterprise products.
Knowledge of Unix and Windows operating systems.
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent working experience.
Experience with MSSQL.
Experience with major and minor distributed application. Experience with storage systems is preferred (NetApp, HDS, IBM).
