Description
FAS Support Engineer - Must hold NATO Secret or National Clearance - 12 Month Contract
At least 3 years' experience administering Functional Area Services systems or similar mission dedicated systems/C2 applications (for example Situational Awareness Services, Land/Air/Joint Command and Control Systems and supporting Theatre Database Systems) in a production environment
Experience with WEB Services, Hands-on experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), Knowledge of administration of WEB Servers, In-depth knowledge of and experience with Virtualisation technologies.
Experience in testing of software applications
Database administration of Microsoft (MS) SQL Server, Oracle Database or POSTGRESQL RDBMS
Strong interpersonal skills, be able to work within a team environment and have strong verbal and written communication skills
Completion of Communications Information Systems (CIS) university degree or completion of vocational training leading to formal software systems related technical or professional certification
Familiarity and be capable to make effective use of the Microsoft Office toolset
Fluent spoken and written English (3/3/3/3)
