Fujitsu is actively looking for a Network and security administrator to work for a part of the European institutions in Brussels

Tasks

  • Serve as technical lead for designing, architecting, costing, planning, assessing, implementing and/or migrating of the production and test environment for HQ and Delegations.
  • Enforce network security policies and implement best practice security strategies on EEAS infrastructures.
  • Perform security reviews and audits to help EEAS organization with network security issues
  • Troubleshooting of escalated operational incidents.
  • Integration and test of new software versions, service packs, configuration changes.
  • Drafting of procedures, installation notices and scripts for the integration, installation, monitoring and upgrade of services.
  • Writing of operational guidelines, maintain network diagrams and documentation.
  • Participation in training seminars for IT officers.
  • Operate in accordance with the defined ITIL processes and procedures (incident, change, problem, etc).
  • Participate to the on-call service
  • Problem troubleshooting, resolution, reporting and escalation.
  • Network system recovery and backup support.
  • Support project implementations and equipment installations
  • Collaborates with the Network Operations team to ensure disaster recovery plans are viable and current.
  • Recommends policy for responding to security incidents along with a
    training program for those that might be involved.
  • Researches new and/or updated technologies as they come available that
    pertain to the EEAS environment.
  • Performs regular penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
  • Communicates security requirements to project teams based on
    understanding of approved security policies, standards, and baselines.
  • Takes lead on security audits, both internal and external.
  • Develops security scripts and recommend tools to support the
    Operations Security function.
  • Responds quickly to downtime situations.
  • Datacentres network architecture and configurations
  • Network Proxy & Reverse Proxy: MS-Forefront, MS-ISA, Squid, F5, CISCO ACE, Blue Coat
  • Network Load balancer - F5 BIG-IP
  • Network IP Routing

Excellent knowledge of:

  • IP Routing: OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS, VRF, BGP
  • Cisco HA: VSS, vPC
  • Fabric Technologies: FabricPath, TRILL, OTV
  • Network: MPLS Layer 2, Layer3 VPN, Traffic Engineering
  • Network: IP Sec configuration
  • Network: switched network environments
  • Cisco devices: Catalyst 6500/Nexus 5K

Good knowledge of:

  • Network: IPv4 à Ipv6
  • Network: DPI (Deep Packet Inspection)
  • Network: WAN optimizer: Riverbed, Cisco WAAS
  • SNMP & Syslog management: NAGIOS/XyMon, CACTI, SPLUNK
  • Security Information and Event Management: SPLUNK
  • VOIP
  • IP trunking
  • Delay, Jitter, Encryption, SIP inspection
  • Security Firewall - Palto Alto/Juniper
  • Security SPAM and Virus: Barracuda, Blue Coat
  • ITIL foundations certification
  • Experience as network administrator - 8 years (5 years if university degree)
  • Incident & problem management - 2 years
  • Relevant experience in security - 2 years
  • Relevant certifications (CCNA Security)
  • English and French

Minimal experience required Linguistic Skills
