This client is one of the UK`s leading renewable energy developers and operators. The client is currently looking for Deputy Package Manager to focus on the foundations works for an offshore wind farm project.
The Deputy Package Manager for Foundations shall have the capability and experience to deliver a technical & commercial solution for the Wind Farm.

The offshore site is located off the South England coast. It is proposed to have up to 150 wind turbine generators at the site that will be connected to an offshore substation platform(s) by buried subsea inter array cables.


Principal Accountabilities

The role will initially be involved in the strategic planning and preparation for the FEED and tender phase of the Project, continuing with contract negotiation, award and design through construction to the offshore installation of the wind turbine foundations and substructures.
You will have day to day accountability for management of a wide range of risks:
- Health, safety and environment
- Programme
- Cost
- Quality
- Compliance with the specifications.

You will be responsible for the delivery of key items within the wind turbine generator foundations design, supply and installation. You shall need a hands on approach to package management and be expected to work closely with other disciplined project/package teams within the project.


Knowledge and Skills

- Experience in a similar role with an in-depth level of competency in project management
- Significant and demonstrable leadership skills in managing and delivering similar packages within either Offshore Wind or Oil & Gas
- Demonstrable competency in leading and/or working within multi-cultural teams.
- Proven, in-depth level of competency in contract management, claims management, negotiation techniques and dispute resolution methodology
- High level of communication skills.
- High regard and good knowledge of current UK health, safety and environmental legislation, particularly the application of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007
- Highly motivated individual with a pro-active attitude ensuring adequate interfaces, controls and communication are established and maintained in all aspects of project management.
