Description
Computer Futures are looking for an IT Manager for a large client based in Swindon.You will also be responsible for the on going management of the IT systems, people, and infrastructure. You will initially be heading up the support team consisting of 7 members of staff, and to then take on all desktop support staff as well.
You will need to be able to give your small team clear focus and make sure the objectives are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
The successful candidate will have key skills in the following:
Application support & management, MPLS Networks, Virtualisation, Storage, MS Environments, Linux Environments, HP Hardware, MS SQL, Cisco Network Platforms, Citrix, Active Directory, Firewall / Endpoint Security, Prince2, ITIL Methodology, Helpdesk Software & excellent technical service delivery
Forward thinking and proactive
Passionate and enthusiastic about IT
Ability to priorities and execute tasks in a high pressure environment
Ability to influence others and gain credibility quickly
To demonstrate a professional approach to staff, customers and suppliers
Previous experience of managing people.
Previous experience of enhancing a business through information technology
several years' experience working as part of an IT team
